Taking Action with ease

Take Action! Take it easy. Make it a habit.

To begin with I want to emphasize the importance of doing baby steps. The basic mistake most people make (including myself) is that they want it all at once. They aim too high and give themselves too little time. As You may guess, growing Your Self-Confidence is nothing that will happen over night or in one week or even a month. You need to accept the fact that this will take time and that You can only truly increase Your level of Self-Confidence by taking one step after the other.

Have You signed up for the newsletter and got Your free copy of the 10+2 actionable tips yet? You may want to start there and try some of the things. You can read the whole book at once (which won’t take You so long) but then You want to take the first tip and really dive into it. Do the action tasks. Taking action and actually doing the things is essential but at the same time You don’t want to do everything at once.

Take Your time instead. See how it feels. Recognize the changes that take place in and around You. You will soon discover that as You start changing the people around You will recognize it. Even if it’s only little things. Like smiling more often 😀

By deliberately practicing each single method of those that You will get to know in the coming weeks You will slowly but surely grow into becoming more and more self-confident. But for now I want You to let it sink in that You will need to take Your time and approach things slowly.

The Power of Habit

You’ve probably heard this before, maybe even a lot. From my experience so far I totally agree with it. Let’s consider Self-Confidence a habit that You can learn or create. Basically a habit is something we do that runs on auto-pilot so we don’t have to actively think about it. Furthermore we may add all processes that we do unconsciously but wouldn’t necessarily call a habit.

So what we want to achieve is to practice each method until it sinks into our unconscious mind and eventually runs on auto-pilot. By doing that we are step by step growing our Self-Confidence by making it a habit. Just imagine You could be and act self-confident in any situation without even thinking about it. That is what we want to achieve and our unconscious is going to help us get there.

Go back to the last article and start feeding Your subconscious with the Final Thoughts to start with. You can either leave them how they are and speak them to Yourself as if from the outside or replace the ‘You’ at the beginning of each sentence with an ‘I’ and directly address Yourself from the first person. Try both versions and see what feels best for You. Basically we should prefer the first person but sometimes it can be good as well to step outside and address ourselves as ‘You’.
